It does come with a wrist strap, it's a few inches long, and has an orange "X" for xfinity as a sort of clasp. I would have preferred the front be flat like the XR11, since we had IR issues with the XR15 because of the design. The front of the remote is like the XR15, except with a double layer of added thickness under the IR sensor. I didn't really get the sense that the buttons were easier to press than the XR15(with the exception of the arrow pad/ok which were easier to use), the XR11 still felt easier to push compared to both. I was expecting it to be slightly rubberized for extra grip, but it wasn't, it's actually kind of slippery. The XRA has no hand contour like the XR11 on the sides(but it does have some slight angle for your hand to rest), and no hand contour on the back like the 11/15, it's just a slab(which I think they could've done better in that area). It's however much chunkier in terms of width and also overall thickness than both. Height wise, it's about the same, if not *slightly* shorter than the XR11, but longer than the XR15. The setup guide actually comes with a speaker in it(like those holiday cards), it scared me lol. It came and here are my observations/ first impressions for those who may be interested in the remote.įirst off, a few spots on the packaging have braille. I just requested one for my family(who had difficulty using the XR15 due to motor problems, so we went with the XR11).
